Company Profile:
My love for wood began in 1971, at the age of sixteen, when I made a solid body guitar in the eleventh grade. Twenty-five years ago, I began to salvage unique logs from the Croton, Ashokan and Lake Carmel watershed regions and in 1992 I purchased a portable sawmill. Since then, I have sawn over two million board-feet of lumber and converted many unusual pieces of hardwood into furniture and sculpture that are in private collections as far away as Germany, Ireland and New Zealand. Some of my work is displayed at the Seven21 Loft Gallery in Kingston, NY.
